How can you tell?

after seeing this time and time again on facebook.

i have an answer.. how can you tell someone is vegan or a vegetarian?.

answer - you wont have to, because they will tell you every single day over in over in food post, recipes and bragging about how good they feel.

Drinking at meetings / assemblies / conventions ... who's done it?

last district convention after having 'read up' (took some family to it).. 2).

last 'meeting' to watch step-father-in-law finally get his and get disfellowshipped for molestation.. ...both were taking vodka shots in the bathroom.. i'm sure there's lots of good stories out there..

FACT: "Apostates" are more loving and understanding than JW's

i love this site, it has been instrumental in my "waking up" as i have read thread after thread i realized something, people who have left the borg "apostates" (i used that term loosely, and mean no offense) are much more understanding and loving to someone who's learning the ttatt.

once someone states they don't want to give out too much personal info.

while telling "their story" (for obvious reasons) no one attacks the person and says if you really believe the ttatt you need to defend it all times!

so does this mean aawa is going to stop shunning?

are they themselves not guilty of shunning those who shun?

shunning can never be stopped no matter how bad you want it to.

I don't have strong feelings either way about AAWA. I just started back to school had an accident on my bike and working full time. I have not had much time. I do believe that when ex-jw's act in any way angry it gives us a bad name. I remember being brain washed that apostates are angry and mean. We are here for eachother not them. Let's make friends we all know we need them.

I can not imagine being ousted before I was ready. I could care less now. It is a personal choice that should not be forced on.

I have not read all the pages so may be missing something. I'll catch up this weekend.

has anybody here experienced a bonafide, real, true incident in whicy 'demons' actually interacted with you or did something 'supernatural' that left you convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that satan and his demons exist??.

This topic is odd for me. I was that crazzy sister that thought everything was demonic. I often would burn things I had some reasons for my obsession. When I was 10ish I was in FS in Woodstock NY and this odd lady let us in. All of the sudden she said "you need to go they do not like you" and a knife flew across the room. We left and went home. I remember the elders "talking to me" about the situation to make sure I was OK. I was fine

i'm new here but have been lurking here for a couple of months.

i am 3rd gen born in but have been inactive for a few years but always had the intention to make another go of the truth, but not now that i know ttatt.

i became inactive due to the inhumane treatment from family members who are elders.
